What I'm proud of, and why each one mattered

Athletic

Charlie Smith Award

I received the Charlie Smith Award, given to the team member who best embodies the core values of rowing: teamwork, dedication, and leadership. It recognized my commitment to supporting teammates, contributing to team culture, and leading by example both on and off the water.

This award is especially meaningful to me because it reflects how I try to show up every day — as a reliable teammate who puts the group first.

IRCA Division I Scholar-Athlete

I was named an Empacher–IRCA Scholar-Athlete by the Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association, recognizing my ability to balance academic excellence with competing at the Division I level.

This honor represents the discipline and consistency required to manage a demanding training schedule while maintaining strong academic performance — two things that reinforced each other throughout my time at Northeastern.

Disney Case Competition — 3rd Place, National

I competed in Walt Disney World's first-ever nationwide case competition, representing Northeastern University against teams from across the country. With limited information and tight time constraints, my team developed a data-informed concept to address a real-world business challenge.

We earned a third-place national finish — a result that reflected our ability to think critically, collaborate under pressure, and turn ambiguity into actionable recommendations. It also gave me direct exposure to how Disney approaches operational and strategic decision-making.
