Experience

Here's what I worked on and why it mattered

The Walt Disney Company

Industrial Engineering Intern

What I did

I worked on analytics and operational improvement projects across several Disney teams, with most of my focus on Food & Beverage operations. My role was centered on using data to help teams understand performance, identify friction points, and make faster, more informed decisions at scale.

Some things I worked on

  • Built and automated dashboards that tracked performance across dozens of quick-service restaurants
  • Helped replace manual, error-prone reporting with real-time views that operators could actually use
  • Worked across multiple departments to translate operational and guest data into clear recommendations
  • Regularly presented insights to stakeholders and leadership to support decision-making

Why it mattered

This experience taught me how small improvements compound at scale, and how important clear storytelling is when using data to influence real operational decisions.

Rogers Corporation

Market Research Analyst Intern

What I did

I worked on the market segment team, researching industry trends and customer needs to help identify opportunities for business expansion. My role combined external market research with internal data to support strategic growth decisions.

Some things I worked on

  • Researched new markets and customer segments with strong growth potential
  • Analyzed competitors, industry trends, and sales data to inform expansion strategy
  • Created clear, data-backed presentations for business and sales teams

Why it mattered

This role strengthened how I think about markets, customers, and strategy, especially how imperfect data still drives real business decisions.

Ginkgo Bioworks

Analyst Intern

What I did

I worked primarily with the lab management team, focusing on data analysis and reporting to support day-to-day operations. A lot of my work involved making large, messy datasets more reliable and useful for the teams working with them.

Some things I worked on

  • Built reporting tools to track lab performance and data quality
  • Helped identify inconsistencies in testing results and flagged issues early
  • Shared findings with teams to support operational improvements and optimization efforts

Why it mattered

I learned how to bring structure to ambiguous problems and how good analysis can directly improve how teams operate.
